Concrete Resurfacing • Decorative Concrete

As concrete ages, it deteriorates. Weather, wear, moisture, rain, freeze/thaw, earth movements, are all common factors in the gradual surface deterioration process. This results in discolored, stained, cracked, chipped, and porous concrete surfaces.

Resurfacing concrete with thin coats of cementitious mixes has challenged the industry for the past 20 years. This challenge resulted in the usage of polymer additives mixed with standard cementitious mixtures. This method of application, through a series of trial and error, has proven to be most successful.

After nearly two decades of application research and testing, we, at CRN, have achieved a systematic approach to concrete resurfacing and beautification. Bridges, roadways, stadiums, amusement parks, hotels, casinos, driveways, and patios are but few of the type of surfaces we have applied our systems to. With nearly 20 years of application experience, field testing, product testing, application methodology research, and with over ten years of follow-up on resurfaced concrete, we are proud to announce that our results are unparalleled in our industry.

Due to the massive amounts of work available, from resurfacing existing damaged concrete, concrete staining and finishing, concrete etching and artwork, texture stamping overlays, and commercial flooring applications the scope of the resurfacing industry is enormous.

CRN is the result of this growth. CRN ensures the quality of application on all aspects, with unequalled ongoing education, material development and research, certification of applicators, and represents the ONLY forum dedicated to the Concrete Resurfacing industry.

The Concrete Resurfacing Network enables Homeowneres and Business owners alike to quickly find a certified applicator to fullfill their concrete decorative resurfacing, concrete product resurfacing, and concrete driveway resurfacing needs.

Concrete is an integral part of our infrastructure. As it ages, it deteriorates. Weather, wear, moisture, rain, freeze/thaw, earth movements, are all common factors in the gradual surface deterioration process. This results in discolored, stained, cracked, chipped, and porous concrete surfaces.

Advances in polymer hybrids, mixed with Portland cement, and various aggregates, have made it possible to re-surface concrete slabs with as little as a 1/16" coating. The renewing of the surface to its original pristine condition has been practiced for the past two decades. Today, the application procedures are refined, tested and proven. Resurfaced concrete bridges, roadways, stadium, amusement parks, parking structures, driveways and patios, demonstrate excellent wear factors ten (10) years after application.

Due to the success in longevity, wear factor, versatility in application, ease of use, and affordability, the proliferation of companies offering polymer enhanced concrete resurfacing systems has exploded in the past few years. With the vast amount of concrete resurfacing work available, applicators are flourishing all across the US, Asia, and Europe. Solicitations for applicators from various manufacturers and/or distributors are constant. Most offer adequate product training application, ranging from two to three days, concentrating on their respective systems, product knowledge, marketing & sales, and estimating.

CRN is the result of this proliferation. With over two decades of experience in the resurfacing industry, CRN was created to ensure the quality of application for resurfacing systems with ongoing education, material research, and certification of applicators. CRN is the only national forum, strictly dedicated to the concrete resurfacing & decorative concrete industry. The Concrete Resurfacing Network enables Homeowneres and Business owners alike to quickly find a certified applicator to fullfill their concrete decorative resurfacing, concrete product resurfacing, and concrete driveway resurfacing needs.
