The Concrete Resurfacing Network, Dedicated to the Business of Concrete Resurfacing and Concrete Decorative Resurfacing
CONCRETE RESURFACING & CRACK REPAIR BASICS

Our Level 102 course features the training needed to ensure a thorough understanding of the basics of concrete repair and resurfacing. We teach our students to setup the worksite for efficiency and safety, prepare a concrete surface for success, analyze and repair stress cracks, stabilize the substrate, apply the desired texture, add decorative border accents, and share our 20 years of experience to maximize their chance of success.

We reveal earned trade secrets on the proper use of polymer modified cement, integral color, solid acrylic stains, and antiquing with stained sealers. We teach our students to create simple stenciled borders to enhance their work, and hide control joints. We focus on crack repairs and the analysis of the substrate to understand stress points, how and where to relieve them, and how to properly cut control joints. We use various sealers, and study their respective properties and suggested use, and most importantly feature the methods of application for slip resistant finishes.
