SPRAY-ON TEXTURE
The Spray-on Texture Finish is an attractive, decorative, slip-resistant finish most commonly used on pool decks, patios, driveways and walkway areas. It is applied using a compressor and hopper gun spray unit and then troweled to achieve the desired texture.
This type of texture overlay is the oldest of all resurfacing materials and systems with some 30 years of history. Since its inception, many different innovations and improvements have been introduced on the marketplace. Today applicators use a variety of stencils, products, and finishing tools to create a multitude of designs and attractive borders.
Color is most often added into the cementitious polymer modified mix, and finished with a Color Stain to achieve a uniform colored finish. To further protect the finish against the elements and staining, a top coat clear sealer is applied.
Typical uses are Pool decks, patios, walkways, and driveways.
