¼" STAMPING OVERLAY
In the mid 90's, hotels and casinos of Las Vegas, Reno, and Lake Tahoe, Nevada CHALLENGED the Stamped Concrete industry with a request for interior structural concrete floor stamping.
PROBLEM: The favored Regular stamped concrete systems, which have been around since the 1970's, could NOT be applied to interior structural concrete slabs
SOLUTION: Thin polymer modified mixtures, which had been used successfully in broom finished and Trowel finished Spray textures, were modified to cure to a ¼" thick layer applied over a stable concrete surface. Using a specially formulated liquid release, antiquing colors, and using custom made stamped texture skins, a ¼" Stamping overlay system was successfully created. Although the system has improved over the years, the original applications of this product is still going strong in some of the major hotels and casinos of Las Vegas.
¼" Polymer Modified Stamping Overlays make it possible to achieve the same beauty, elegance and natural appearance of traditional stamped concrete without the need for removal and replacement of an existing concrete surface.
